this has got to be the dumbest debate. the lions wouldn't even be the best team in the nfc west, which right now is the weakest division of all football. the debate is "which is the better team-- rams or lions."

The apocolypse of the Matt Millen regime is only two drafts in the rear view mirror. The Lions are improving, but enough to overtake the Packers or Vikings? I think not. Catching the Bears might be more realistic in the next year or two.

If Detroit is near the top then Im the Easter Bunny! The Lions still dont hit 8 wins, 6 if their lucky.

Detroit has improved a little, but not enough, That will take time if it even ever happens. which is probably never.

Detroit had a good draft and picked up some talented vets.BUT they're no match for Green Bay, Minnesota (with or wothout Favre) , or Chicago, where Lovie string is very thin! I say that they'll improve to possible 6 wins

Detroit had a good draft which will improve them. But Green Bay looks like the best of the North followed by Minnesota. I did pick the Lions to beat Chicago on the road!
